Nexus Quick Start Progression Guide (New Player)

6 min read

This guide walks you from fresh spawn to your first strong AOE farming setup, then into the daily routine that builds long-term power through Collections + Seals.

Before you begin

  • You can check your overall progress anytime with: !collection (Normal Chat)
  • You can check your stats (including movement speed) with: !stats (Normal Chat)

Part 1 – Fresh Start Setup (Must-Do)

1) Complete Miki Quests (x2)

After spawning in Yokohama Village, complete Miki quests twice to receive key starter items like:

  • First Costume / Digivice / Clothes
  • Leveling Box / Bags / Warehouse
  • Magnetic Aura (auto-loot)
  • Other early essentials

Important: Check your current Collection anytime with !collection.

2) Open all starter boxes (costume & utilities)

Use these items right away:

  • Costume
  • Digivice
  • Avatar Box (clothes)
  • Bags + Warehouse items
  • Level-Up Gift Box → to obtain Magnetic Aura (Auto-Loot)

Tip: Use Evoluters to unlock your starter Digimon line up to Mega (more unlocks = better Collection value).

Part 2 – Early Leveling Route (Starter to Champion)

3) Level your starter Digimon to Lv10 (unlock Champion)

  • Defeat a few Digimon until your starter reaches Lv10
  • Go to DATS Center AreaD-Terminal
  • Talk to Elecmon → move to Village of the Beginning
  • Travel to Silver Lake

Keep moving and keep farming. Early levels are very fast.

4) Store important items early (Warehouse)

Talk to PawnChessmon (W) – Warehouse, then store:

  • Extra DigiEggs
  • Magnetic Box
  • Digi Aura (7D)

Tip: Save boosters, chicken, and farming items. Don’t waste them early.

Part 3 – Jumping Event Rewards (Free Strong Digimon)

5) Claim “Jumping Event Rewards” at Tamer Lv10

Keep leveling until Tamer Lv10, then:

  • Look at the Digivice Quest messages (bottom right)
  • Accept rewards from “Jumping Event Rewards Quest”
    You should receive:
  • Hawkmon (Silphymon) 5/5
  • Salamon (Silphymon) 5/5
  • Their Jogress items: Fenrir + Aurvandil
  • Plus Data and other useful items

Recommended: Use an EXP Booster 500 if you have it.

6) Push to Tamer Lv30 + Digimon Lv65

Keep defeating monsters, leveling is fast.

  • Aim for Tamer Lv30
  • Aim for Digimon Lv65

Keep grinding until the Agumon NPC quest unlocks.

Part 4 – Quick Money + Monster Cards Setup

7) Tsunomon Quest (0/5) for fast early money

Complete Tsunomon 0/5 quest to obtain 9M.

Egg handling rule (important):

  • Keep only Rank 1 / DATA DigiEggs (they give lots of DATA)
  • Return all other eggs for more money

Goal while doing this:

  • Save 9M
  • Collect Summoning Stone Lv1 + Lv2

8) Convert Summoning Stones into Hero Raid Cards

Use a Jump Booster → return to DATS Center Area.

  • On the left, talk to Barbamon
  • Choose Bosses
  • Exchange Summoning Stone Lv1 into Hero Raid Boss Level 1 Cards

Goal: Stock up on Hero Cards for Evoluters farming.

9) Hatch your free Jogress Digimon

Go to Incubator, then:

  • Hatch Hawkmon + Salamon
  • Use remaining Evoluters to unlock their evolution lines

Goal: Unlock both lines up to Mega.

Part 5 – Movement Speed Boost (Huge Quality of Life)

10) Buy Attribute items from Mary (DATS)

Talk to Mary in DATS and buy the best you can afford:

  • x2 HP
  • x2 DE
  • x2 AT
  • 1x DS
  • 1x MS (movement speed)

Check speed anytime with !stats.

11) Scan + merge attributes into your gear

Talk to Doruphin (Equipment Management):

  • Choose Attribute Management
  • Scan all attribute items
  • Merge them into your clothes

Higher attribute levels = better movement speed. Re-check with !stats.

Part 6 – Evoluters Farming (Monster Cards)

12) Unlock Monster Card farming area

Talk to Kevin Krier → go to Base of Barbamon
(This is the main place where you use Monster Cards.)

13) Farm Evoluters with Hero Cards

In the instance:

  • You can summon 10 monsters at a time, up to 100 total
  • Kill [DA] Gabumon to farm:
    • Evoluters
    • Chicken Combo
    • Inventory Expansion

Goal: Unlock Hawkmon + Salamon Jogress (Silphymon) – requires 100 Evoluters.

14) Unlock your first AOE Digimon (Valkyrimon)

Use a Jump Booster → go back to Silver Lake:

  • Level Salamon + Hawkmon to Lv70
  • Unlock Valkyrimon (your first AOE)

Now you can:

  • Summon 100 Gabumon (Hero Cards 1)
  • Clear them all fast with one AOE skill

Nexus note: Jogress evolution no longer requires both Digimon to be in your party to use.

Extra Tip – Fast Money Methods

Fast money options

  1. Scan Rank 1 / DATA DigiEggs (use Skip to scan quickly) → you get Class Data
    • Class Data sells well (example: 999 DATA = 100M at merchants)
    • Return all other egg types
  2. Unlock Server Continent (costs 100M at Elecmon)
    • Farm and sell higher Summoning Stones (Lv9 farming becomes a money path)

Daily Routine (Do This Every Day)

15) Daily Entry Tickets (VERY IMPORTANT)

Collect entry tickets every day—especially for special dungeons:

  • F.I.L.E (Cerberumon): guaranteed Archive
  • Sin Dungeon (Dark Master Piedmon): special endgame evolutions + endgame 5-Stats Bracelet

Even if you can’t run them yet, save the tickets. You’ll thank yourself later.

16) Daily Quests from Sir Shoto (Core Growth)

Your main long-term power comes from Seals + Collections. Track it anytime with:

  • !collection

Go to Sir Shoto (Monarch’s Knight) in DATS and take the 3 daily quests. Rewards include:

  • Archive expansions
  • Mugendramon Seals (AT Seal)
  • Bag + Warehouse upgrades
  • Evoluters

Do these daily for faster account growth.

Next Big Goal – Fanglongmon (Early Game Power Spike)

17) Get Fanglongmon (AOE powerhouse)

Fanglongmon is massively stronger than Valkyrimon (great for farming cards, money, eggs, seals).

How to get it:

  • Ask in DATS using Megaphone or chat, players often sell cheap (sometimes free).
  • Special for V-TamerX Guild member, you can ask in guild chat. Guarantee someone will give you for free ^_^

Requirements for Shin Fanglongmon

You’ll need these 4 lines (each has the same type of requirements):

  • Xuanwumon Egg / 308 Evoluters / Awakened Negative Energy (Xuanwumon)
  • Baihumon Egg / 308 Evoluters / Awakened Negative Energy (Baihumon)
  • Zhuqiaomon Egg / 308 Evoluters / Awakened Negative Energy (Zhuqiaomon)
  • Qinglongmon Egg / 308 Evoluters / Awakened Negative Energy (Qinglongmon)

Collection Expansion (DigiDex Growth)

18) Start collecting more Digimon (all eggs are 5/5)

Since every egg in Nexus is guaranteed 5/5, it’s the best time to expand your DigiDex.

  • Gather eggs, hatch steadily
  • Focus “useful” Digimon first (easy dungeons, utility lines), then go for completion

Suggested early targets: Dorumon (Raptor), Ryuudamon, Impmon.
Use a “DigiHatch Tracker” to manage 100+ hatchings easily.

Burst Mode Unlocks (via Monster Cards)

19) Farm Burst Mode Boxes (BM)

According to the wiki:

  • BM Boxes drop from Villain & Hero Monster Cards Lv5–Lv7

Where to farm Summoning Stones

  • SS Lv1: Silver Lake (Evoluter)
  • SS Lv2: Silver Lake (Evoluter)
  • SS Lv3: Silent Forest (Evoluter)
  • SS Lv4: Silent Forest
  • SS Lv5: Lost Historic Site (BmRandomBox)
  • SS Lv6: Lost Historic Site (BmRandomBox)
  • SS Lv7: Waterfront (BmRandomBox, OCS)
  • SS Lv8: Waterfront
  • SS Lv9: Server Continent Desert (Reinforced Digiclone S, OCS)
  • SS Lv10: Server Continent Desert (Reinforced Digiclone S, Seal Opener, OCS)

Strengthening Fanglongmon (Cloning)

20) Clone Fanglongmon ASAP

Fanglongmon will be your main farming engine early-mid game, so prioritize cloning quickly.

Nexus cloning system note:

  • You no longer need traditional backups (S/A/B/C/D).
  • New clone items have ~50% success chance.

Reinforced Digiclone sources

Common sources include:

  1. Monster Cards 9 & 10
  2. Dungeon NPC Shops
  3. Player shops in DATS
